Hi, I'm James Jeffery, owner of DJ Tater Entertainment.

I've spent years behind a microphone long before I ever stepped behind a DJ controller. I was given the nick-name "DJT8R" by the Scottsboro Basketball teams many years ago, and it just stuck. Whether I'm announcing high school football and basketball, emceeing community events, serving as a pastor, or entertaining at weddings and private parties, one thing has always been the same—I enjoy helping people create moments they'll remember.

Every event has its own personality. A wedding isn't a school dance. A car show isn't a church event. That's why I don't believe in showing up with the same playlist and pressing play. I take the time to learn what you're looking for, keep things organized, and make sure the music fits the crowd.

My goal isn't to steal the spotlight. It's to help create an atmosphere where everyone else can enjoy theirs.

From elegant wedding receptions and athletic events to corporate gatherings, church functions, reunions, birthdays, and community celebrations, I bring professional sound, dependable service, and an experienced voice on the microphone when it's needed.
